DBT Aero is excited to announce the appointment of Ben Neivert as Advisor and Chief of Staff. With a robust goal of establishing production of the first commercial product, Ben’s extensive experience in aerospace engineering and business process improvement will be invaluable in propelling DBT Aero towards this milestone.
Ben Neivert comes to DBT Aero with a comprehensive background that spans over twenty-five years across multiple countries and industries. His education includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and an Associate Degree in Air Commerce/Flight Technology from Florida Institute of Technology, along with an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management. During his tenure at Macquarie, Ben also served as Adjunct Faculty, specializing in operations management and technology management.
Professionally, Ben began his career as a design engineer at Cessna Aircraft Company before joining a strategic team tasked with enhancing efficiency across the company. His contributions were pivotal during the General Dynamics acquisition of Cessna. Following his tenure at Cessna, Ben became a sought-after consultant, providing expertise in manufacturing and business process improvement to prestigious clients such as Boeing, British Aerospace, and the Royal Australian Air Force.
His notable achievements include the publication of a research paper on best practices in composite manufacturing and pivotal roles in strategic planning, operations improvement, and performance management. Ben’s expertise extends to facilitating high-impact workshops, having designed and conducted sessions for groups ranging from six to over a hundred participants.
