Daniel brings almost 15 years of industry experience, advising and guiding Fortune 500 companies, U.S. state and federal agencies, as well as startup companies across Canada, the USA, Latin America, and Australia. As a forward-thinking business and engineering-trained leader, Daniel has been involved in several industry firsts in both the defense and commercial marketplaces. His expertise spans manufacturing, research and development, and business development in the unmanned robotic space.
A Proven Leader in Unmanned Systems and Innovation
Daniel is currently the President and Founding Principal of Clarify Consulting LLC, where he provides Uncrewed Systems Advisory and Solution Architecting guidance to companies and government agencies. Previously, he spent 10 years at Insitu (a Boeing subsidiary) in advanced development, focusing on creating new use cases through technical development and product management. Notably, he led the Detect and Avoid (DAA) research at Insitu/Boeing, working with the FAA and many in industry, which supported several first-of-its-kind FAA approvals and approvals for commercial flights in the national airspace.
In his most recent role as the Business Development Manager for the Americas at the Australian startup Emesent, Daniel focused on opening new regions, creating partnerships, building relationships, supporting customers, and identifying unique applicable markets within the region.

Daniel’s notable achievements include:
Creating concepts, partnerships, and securing Department of Defense (DoD) funding for sensor development, which has now become an unmanned systems program of record capability within the US DoD.
Providing support to Boeing as a subject matter expert in UAS advisory for international collaborations with USA and European airspace regulators.
Daniel is a forward-thinking, cross-disciplinary leader with an MBA in Technology Management and a B.S. in Electronic Engineering.
