DBT Aero is thrilled to announce the appointment of Kynan Fletcher as Vice President, Aerodynamic Systems & Performance. Kynan joins DBT Aero from his own propulsion startup and consulting work, where he helped technical teams bridge the gap between ambitious engineering goals and practical implementation, focusing on propulsion, electrification, and system integration. His experience covers extensive work in mechanics, structures, aerodynamics, electronics, materials, and manufacturing, including hands-on R&D, global technical sales, and supply chain management—especially across Asia, the US, and Europe. He is a global consultant with over a decade of experience leading innovation in aerospace propulsion.
Kynan, trained as a military aviator and holding a Master of Engineering in Aerospace, studied at both Southampton and MIT. He brings extensive skills and experience in startups and design from his previous roles as Technical Founder & Director at RogersEV Ltd., where he refined his advanced technical skills in propulsion architecture, electric motor design, AI-augmented CFD, multi-physics simulation, and optimization frameworks for performance and design integration.
